Product Overview of the Photoelectric Through-Beam Sensor

The GSE10-N1221 operates on the through-beam principle. The sender and receiver are mounted opposite each other. When an object interrupts the infrared light beam between the two units, the sensor output changes state to indicate object detection.

Thanks to its separate sender-receiver design, the GSE10-N1221 provides very high excess gain and excellent immunity to interference, delivering stable detection over long distances. It significantly outperforms retro-reflective and diffuse sensors in range and reliability. The sensor is equipped with a 270° sensitivity adjustment potentiometer, allowing easy optimization for different installation conditions.

With its compact dimensions (20 × 50 × 39 mm), robust ABS/PMMA housing, and strong resistance to vibration, the GSE10-N1221 is a reliable solution for demanding industrial applications requiring high accuracy and durability.
