Overview

The nanoScan3 is SICK’s most compact 2D safety laser scanner, specially designed for hazardous area protection and positioning on mobile platforms such as AGVs and AMRs.
The device features advanced safeHDDM® scanning technology, delivering high measurement accuracy and exceptional immunity to strong ambient light, dust, dirt, and harsh industrial environments. With a height of only 80 mm, the nanoScan3 integrates easily into space-saving designs.
The NANS3-CAAZ30AA1 belongs to the nanoScan3 Pro I/O – EFI-pro series. It offers a protective field range of up to 3 m, a warning field of 10 m, a maximum measuring range of 40 m, a scan angle of 275°, and an angular resolution of 0.17°. The scanner supports flexible configuration of up to 128 monitoring fields and 128 monitoring cases, with simultaneous monitoring of up to 8 fields. Configuration and diagnostics are performed easily via the Safety Designer software over USB or Ethernet.
