The TiM5xx series represents SICK’s evolution from the field-evaluation-only TiM3xx into a full measurement data output platform. The TIM510-9950000S01 (Part No. 1062210) outputs raw scan data — the distance measurement from every angular step across 270° — via RS-232 at 460.8 kBaud, enabling the host system (embedded PC, Raspberry Pi, industrial PLC with COM port, or STM32 microcontroller) to build point clouds, perform SLAM, or track objects in software.

The M12 12-pin connector cable (0.3m included) carries both power and the RS-232 TxD/RxD signals. A Micro USB port provides a separate service interface for parameterization using SICK SOPAS ET software without interrupting operation.
