The TTK50 is a magnetic linear encoder from SICK Germany. It uses a magnetic tape and read head to deliver highly accurate linear position measurement. The encoder offers 1 µm resolution, ±10 µm system accuracy at +20 °C, and a measuring range from 0 to 940 mm. TTK50 employs the HIPERFACE® (RS-485) interface combined with analog Sin/Cos signals, enabling direct connection to servo drives and motion controllers. With an IP67 protection rating, the TTK50 performs reliably in harsh industrial environments across a wide temperature range from –30 °C to +80 °C.

Does the TTK50 work with Siemens and Bosch Rexroth servo drives? Yes, the TTK50 integrates seamlessly with many popular servo drives. It uses the widely supported HIPERFACE® (RS-485) motor feedback interface. You can connect the TTK50 directly to:

Calculate tape length as measuring travel + 60 mm.
