Overview

The LMS153-10100 is a compact, high-performance 2D LiDAR sensor designed for both indoor and outdoor industrial applications.

The LMS1xx series belongs to SICK’s extensive family of 2D laser scanners, offering cost-effective and reliable solutions for a wide range of indoor and outdoor environments. The compact form factor is combined with advanced Multi-Echo technology, which significantly improves sensor performance in outdoor conditions and even allows mounting behind glass.

The SICK LMS153-10100 is a 2D LiDAR sensor from the LMS1xx family manufactured by SICK AG (Germany). Using a 905 nm infrared laser (Laser Class 1), it scans a 270° field of view with a maximum detection range of up to 50 meters. The sensor supports Ethernet TCP/IP (10/100 Mbit/s) as the primary interface, with additional RS-232 and CAN connectivity. Thanks to its IP67 protection rating and integrated heating, the LMS153-10100 is suitable for both indoor and harsh outdoor environments, operating reliably from -30°C to +50°C.
