DIMENSION | DC-UPS and buffer modules with capacitor storage
- The DC-UPS with integrated electrochemical double layer capacitors are fully maintenance free and guarantee an uninterrupted power supply for periods measured in seconds.
- Buffer modules with electrolytic capacitors work similarly to a DC-UPS and can bridge power failures in the 24V or 48V net for periods measured in milliseconds.
- In buffer mode, the output voltage is regulated and the change from normal to buffer mode occurs without interruptions. All modules are protected against overload and short-circuit and have a wide operating temperature range.
- A regular maintenance or replacement of the capacitors is not necessary.
Single-Point Lubrication Systems
- perma FUTURA is the ideal automatic lubrication system for areas that require hygiene or for harsh operating conditions which may lead to corrosion of metal lubricators or electronic systems. Its reliable operating principle is based on an electrochemical reaction.
- The lubrication period is determined by color coded activator screws.
- Depending on your application‘s requirement, you may choose to discharge 120 cm³ in a period of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.
- The activator screw generates pressure (max. 4 bar) which moves the piston forward and continuously injects small lubricant amounts into the lubrication point.

DC/DC Converters

The DIMENSION family includes the widest range of 12 to 48V DIN rail power supplies. The products are classified in three series: Q , C and X with 1-, 2- or 3-phase input and a power of 80 to 960W.

Each series assembles various power supply models. Helpful special features like DC-OK relay contact, remote shut-down, spring clamps or DC wide-range input and important approvals are available for every series.

- Efficient and reliable PULS DC/DC converters provide regulated DC voltages of 12V, 24V or 48V.
Protection modules
- The PISA protection module distributes the current of a large power source to multiple lower current output channels and therefore allows for smaller wires to be used. Furthermore, it permits only so much current on the output so the input voltage of the unit (which corresponds to the output voltage of the power supply) does not fall below 21V typically.
- This ensures a reliable supply voltage for sensitive equipments, such as PLCs, controls or sensors, when they are connected directly to the same power supply as the PISA protection module.
- Less critical loads, that are not affected by short voltage interruptions or could even cause a fault on the 24V power supply, are connected to one of the four current controlled output channels of the PISA module. The protection is independent of the length of the wires or of the power supplies‘ characteristics.
