• PULS developed a decoupling solution with MOSFETs to fulfil the need for minimal no-load losses. For instance, when using a MOSFET module, a load current of 40A will only produce power losses amounting up to 3W.
  • With MOSFETs as a decoupling element, even voltage drops can be minimised. The voltage drop at 40A output current is lower than 50mV between the input and output.
  • After implementing MOSFETs, even the parallel-use mode achieves better thermal balance, thus leading to an extended lifetime of the power supplies. In this process, the load current is divided equally between the individual power supplies.

  • Our product family DIMENSION is known for full featured DIN rail power supplies with the highest performance and numerous variants.
  • PULS also offers redundancy modules based on the cost-oriented diode technology. The modules are suitable to set up reliable 1+1 and n+1 redundancy systems.
  • Their compact and light-weight design makes them a perfect fit for applications with little space.

  • The PIANO power supplies are perfectly suited for a wide range of economical applications. More demanding applications can be realised with the fully-featured DIMENSION products.

Protection modules

DIMENSION | Protection module

  • The PISA protection module distributes the current of a large power source to multiple lower current output channels and therefore allows for smaller wires to be used. Furthermore, it permits only so much current on the output so the input voltage of the unit (which corresponds to the output voltage of the power supply) does not fall below 21V typically.
  • This ensures a reliable supply voltage for sensitive equipments, such as PLCs, controls or sensors, when they are connected directly to the same power supply as the PISA protection module.
  • Less critical loads, that are not affected by short voltage interruptions or could even cause a fault on the 24V power supply, are connected to one of the four current controlled output channels of the PISA module. The protection is independent of the length of the wires or of the power supplies‘ characteristics.
